"It's a Hard Block Life" is a short observational documentary that I directed, filmed and edited during my year abroad, capturing the everyday experiences, personalities, and shared moments within a university accommodation block. Blending humour and honesty, the film offers an intimate look at student life abroad — from late-night conversations to the chaos of communal living — highlighting the unique bonds that form in the most unexpected places.
